The Studio

This is where it all happens, hidden away in the woods. With a babbling brook meandering through the grounds, this enchanting setting inspires artistic expression. The studio is a haven for creativity. Come to laugh, learn, make mistakes and explore.
The studio is a multifunctional space catering to the creative needs of designers and artists. It serves as a workspace for individual professional endeavors while also functioning as a gallery to showcase artistic works.
Additionally, Chesters provides artist in residence workshops through the Artist Studio Series and the opportunity for both creativity and community through Adult Sip and Create, a collective happening tailored for adults to foster learning in art and design.

‘We Are Not Alone’

Opening in May at Chesters, two artists whose abstract and surreal works delve into themes of organic forms and nature’s mysteries. Inspired by nature and the subconscious, the show explores connections between human identity and the larger universe, raising questions of immigration, migration, and the elusive concept of "home." The exhibition’s dreamlike atmosphere invites viewers to embrace their own journey and presence in a shared, interconnected world. "We Are Not Alone" sets the stage for a larger mural project inspired by the artists, expanding on ideas of crop circles, alien consciousness, and the mystery of our cosmic journey—asking: "Where are we going?"

Adult Sip and Create Chesters hosts a community drop-in series titled “The Drawing Room” that is the first thursday of every month. Principal and artist, Catherine Chesters will provide light instruction and focalized themes (materials, colors, or seasonal found objects) for each class to inspire new ideas, skills, and sense of spontaneity. The studio will provide basic supplies but patrons are encouraged to byob.

The White Show

This winter, Chesters Creative is embracing the winter solstice with "The White Show." Opening on the darkest day of the year, the show will bring together the gleaming works of 7 artists, each exploring the elusive theme of "light" and, quite literally, the color white. Think of it as an artistic snow globe where minimalism and light play cheekily through the room, nodding to the season’s quiet sparkle.
